I don't enjoy the prep and process of long journeys, but I do love going to my studio and painting, and I love the places that the paintings take me. These five new Rhythmic works have taken me to what appears to be vistas, very far away from my studio in Downtown Los Angeles, transcending the grit and littered state of the neighborhood.
