For this edition of ARCOmadrid, Marlborough will present an itinerary of works from different periods by Anna Bella Geiger (Brazil, 1933), Victoria Civera (Spain, 1955), Luis Gordillo (Spain, 1934), Francisco Leiro (Spain, 1957), Rita Ponce de León (Peru, 1982) and assume vivid astro focus (avaf) (Brazil, 1968), who, in their desire to escape the figurative, adopt a fragmented, labyrinthine and semi-abstract attitude.
