[MARS] Melbourne Art Rooms is delighted to be returning for the second edition of Sydney Contemporary at Carriageworks.

MARS will present new works by four leading Australian artists working across diverse mediums including sculpture, light installation, performance and painting. Artists Daniel Agdag and Jason Sims will return following sell-out successes at the last Sydney Contemporary with innovative new bodies of work, while Simon Pericich and Tricky Walsh will be shown at this international fair for the first time.

Established in 2004 by gallerist Andy Dinan, MARS is dedicated to exhibiting, promoting, and building the careers of mid-career and emerging Australian artists. Since moving to a new purpose-built gallery space in Windsor last year, MARS has continued to present itself as an innovator in both gallery design and programming with dedicated exhibition spaces for showing works on paper as well as new media art.
