About

The concept for this year’s booth is a dialog between three artists, whose work is centered around
the fragment as a figure in our time. The transformation of the materials and the presentation of the
mental space is a shared interest. The artists mainly work in three mediums; painting, sculpture and
photography, which together represents a larger landscape. In this landscape the materials
interweave and branche out into each other as in Wood’s paintings, where the sculptural manifest
itself in thick brush strokes. In Hughes’ sculptures, the object is transformed by layers of paint, and
