Statement

This exhibition introduces small works created in a diary-like format of Kenichi Yokono's daily life.

Press Release

Kenichi Yokono is a Japanese artist born in 1972. He has been consistently carving wooden boards and coloring them in white and red.
This series of "Short Stories" is meant to be like a diary of Yokono himself, small works that express his daily life or his living space. It is a very popular series that expresses the scenery that everyone sees or a scene that everyone spends in their daily life as if it were a story.
With the addition of 20 new works, visitors can find new stories to tell.
Why don't you pick out a few works that you can relate to and create a new story of your own?
