MASTERS

Mill Contemporary is pleased to announce an exhibition of Contemporary Master Prints from the 70’s to the 90’s. The exhibition will take place from February 10 through March 25, 2017.

Printmaking is a medium in which one can combine traditional print approaches (intaglio, lithography, or screen printing) with any number of techniques and materials associated with other arts (digital imaging, collage, hand-painting, sewing) to create never-ending variations. The end result is often freer and less inhibited than that of an artist’s usual studio practice.
The editioned works were created in association with some of the premier printmakers in the world.

The artists included in this exhibition are: Christo, Sam Francis, Philip Guston, David Hockney, Jasper Johns, Bruce Nauman, Claes Oldenburg, Robert Rauschenberg, Richard Serra, Frank Stella, and Tom Wesselmann.
