About
Lake creates a room installation of a dozen imposing “blossom” sculptures illuminated by a mirror ball. The blossoms are constructed from images scanned from Japanese vintage kimonos for young girls, that are then cut and reassembled with toy parts, imitation gold, sequins, etc.
