The Bill Burns Show (part 3) completes the artist's opus about truth, desire, and the art trade. Mr. Burns uses watercolours, goats milk, and Georgian Chant to help you get to the bottom of things.
On Saturday June 17 at 3:00 pm, as part of Toronto's Art Book Week, Bill will read excerpts from his recent book, Hans Ulrich Obrist Hear Us. The reading will be interspersed by a Georgian Chant performed live by Alan Gasser and Emma Whitla based on Art Review's Power 100 list.
Bill Burns' work about the art trade, animals and advanced industrialism has been shown at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. London; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin; the Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul, and the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam His recent book Hans Ulrich Obrist Hear Us is published by Black Dog Publishing, London, UK. He lives under threat of litigation.
