Statement
A thousand autumns, symbolizes eternity stretching from the past to the future. Artist from Akiota inspired by the tree's image of immortality and its remarkable regenerative ability, paid homage to its grandeur by capturing its beauty using the roketsu-zome dyeing technique.

mm project art is pleased to present an exhibition of Ayaka Umeda "undying trees".
Ayaka Umeda, her work is created by batik technique to incorporate elements of nature, water and air.
The work of "eternity ginko" was created influence by our local treasure of huge ginko tree in Tsutsuga area in Akiota. The work of "raining stream", she draw huge old persimmon tree that was lived more than generations, grow and break the blanches, artist express the tree is similar to a human world.
