Art Behind the Zion Curtain

Modern West Fine Art is excited to exhibit Art Behind the Zion Curtain, a group show with work by John Berry, Kevin Kehoe, Jody Plant, Nathan Florence, Jann Haworth, Frank Buffalo Hyde, Tom Judd, Dave Newman, Eric Overton, Woody Shepherd, Ben Steele, and John Vehar-Evanoff.

Selected artists were invited to interpret “Art Behind the Zion Curtain,” and put their own personal spin on Utah’s eccentricities. Might it be political, satirical, or a beautiful landscape of Utah, Modern West Fine Art will be featuring their take. The exhibition will open with a reception April 21, from 6-8 p.m. and will be up through May 13, 2017.

Modern West Fine Art is a gallery created by Diane Stewart to support contemporary artists whose works offer imaginative interpretations of the west. The artists represented offer a variety of points of view and representations of western lifestyle. The gallery aspires to support the local community through informative events, allowing the community to gather in the space to express themselves and experience western art with a contemporary influence.
