“Go West, young man” was the catchphrase for generations of young Americans. A century later, Tom Judd decided to go East, but the myth of the West was never left far behind. Judd brings to Modern West Fine Art a new collection of work focusing on the West.
Salt Lake City, UT – March 29, 2016 - Modern West Fine Art will display a solo exhibition from painter Tom Judd, for their April show. Tom Judd has shown extensively for the last 30 years in prominent galleries and museums and is included in major private and public collections. He continues to establish himself as an original voice in the contemporary art world. The opening reception will be during the April Gallery Stroll on Friday, April 15 from 6:30 -8 p.m. Tom Judd will be attending said event. About Modern West Fine Art: Modern West Fine Art is a gallery created by Diane Stewart to support established and emerging contemporary artists. The represented artists work in a variety of mediums and offer their unique points of view. About Tom Judd: Tom Judd attended the University of Utah; traveled through Europe and received his degree from the Philadelphia College of Art where he studied with Rafael Ferrer, Bob Kulicke, and Larry Day.
