In this show the work of famous Mexican sculptor Javier Marin becomes a symbol representing Mexico as a driving force of contemporary art. Marin's work will be accompanied by painter Mario Soria and his personal interpretation of Mexican and Spanish cultures fusion.
N2 Gallery opened in 2005 with the first solo exhibition of Javier Marin (Michoacán, 1962) in Europe. During these eleven years, the Mexican sculptor has positioned itself among the most important artists in the world. N2 Gallery wishes to pay a tribute to him. So we've planned, with the collaboration of renowned international intellectuals, an exhibition in which the work of Javier Marin becomes a symbol representing Mexico as an inspiration and driving force of contemporary art. Marin's work will be accompanied by a small sample of artworks from painter Mario Soria (Barcelona, 1966), one of our closest artists, who'll bring his personal interpretation of the fusion of Mexican and Spanish cultures.
