Joan Bankemper’s exhibition of Bee Mandala sculptures and raw canvas paintings opens at Nancy Hoffman Gallery on March 15 and continues through April 14, including work of the past five years.

The artist’s ceramic mosaic vessels grew out of 25 years of commitment to creating urban gardens with the help of surrounding communities.
