Since our founding ten years ago, our community has been essential to our continued growth and we look forward to engaging many more in the year ahead. With your support, NARS will continue to provide professional development opportunities to artists through our International Residency Programs and Short-Term National and International Studio spaces, serving over 113 emerging and mid-career artists in the past year. Our Exhibition Program has presented the work of 156 artists and curators from all over the world. Additionally, our monthly free family Educational Program of exhibition tours and children’s workshops has expanded and become even more popular in our local community. Our partnership with PS 172, an elementary school in Sunset Park, with whom we present an after-school Animation Workshop, gives school children greater access to the visual arts.
