For Art Cologne Dale Frank has produced a suite of new paintings that extend his material explorations of the interplay between abstraction, colour and high-tech materiality. Using perspex, pigmented varnish and epoxyglass, Frank pushes the limits of his materials, creating swirling, fluorescent forms shimmering with vivid, metallic pigments that simultaneously offer pure surface and void-like depths.

Dale Frank’s solo presentation within the ‘Contemporary’ section of Art Cologne—which highlights established international galleries—showcases some of the best contemporary art worldwide.
