An exhibition of 14 pieces in large format combining different materials and techniques, such as photography, prints and installation of lead, wood veneer, steel, mirrors, and nanotechnology material among others.
This exhibition contains an elegant projection from the history of the artist that allows us to go beyond the visual to an internal exploration place on each piece, an intimate and personal meaning. From the idea to the technological elements, Montaño Mason creates large format polyptychs pieces that dominates the space according to the direction of the chosen composition. His production diverse and contains different approaches on the passage of life to death and rebirth through cathartic processes in order to autocurates and reconstructs himself. A series of monochromatic compositions, followed by lines and textures that define the episodes of his visual narrative. Cuarto Negro/Cuarto Blanco inauguration is on Friday, February 2nd at 19 h until April 28, 2018, at the NM Contemporary Gallery, and may be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 11 to 19 h.
