-- On Tuesday evening, young art collectors and Chelsea art
aficionados alike flowed steadily into Allongé, Chelsea’s newest landmark property,
designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid. Within the raw ground level space on 28th
Street, Horatio & Carson’s Inaugural Opening Reception feted Arise, an ambitious
group show running through Monday at the week-long pop-up art gallery.
Arise includes works by Gabriel Aiello, Alexis Dahan, John Paul Fauves, Marcarson and
Katya Zvereva, and was curated by Paul Horatio Henkel, of Hauser + Wirth, and Mark
Carson, visual artist and former Owner of Not For Them. The opening was sponsored by
Gabriel’s. Arise will continue through November 27th, by appointment only.
