Pavel Zoubok Gallery is pleased to usher in winter with an intimate
exhibition of "snowflake" collages by May Wilson (1905-1986), an artist
who during her heyday of the 1960s and 1970s was often referred to as
the "Grandma Moses of the Underground." These superimpositions of
intricately cut paper range from vibrantly patterned all-over
abstractions, to playful juxtapositions made from gay physique
journals and "girlie" magazines.
