J-L70 - 120 x 120 cm, Ink printing. The patrilineal haplogroup J-L70 appeared some 34,000 years ago in a man from the Middle East. His descendants initiated the domestication of plants and animals, were the first farmers and spread their knowledge. 1,360 generations later, the J-L70 came to me - a biologist - through my father, an agro-technician, born in the Venezuelan Andes, more than 12,000 km and 30 millennia away from our original ancestor.
