" Joel Meyerowitz took his first photo in 1962. Street photographer in the line of Henri Cartier-Bresson, he is one of the first, with Stephen Shore and William Eggleston, to have favored color film at the time of all black & white.

At 24, he meets a shooting – he is then artistic director in an advertising agency – Robert Frank and remains fascinated by his gestures. He decides to go down the streets to take pictures: of New York, of Paris, then on the beaches of California, of Spain or of Wales.
