About

Statement

In the mid-1960s, a long trip to Europe marked a turning point in Joel Meyerowitz’s career and allowed him to assert his style. But it was not until the early 1970s that he devoted himself exclusively to color.

Press Release

For ten years, between 1963 and 1973, Joel Meyerowitz declined what he saw a few seconds apart using two cameras: one in color, the other in black and white.
