Ulrike Rosenbach, who was featured in documenta in 1977 and 1987, is an uncompromising artist: political, feminist and innovative. Priska Pasquer is devoting a large-scale overview exhibition of her work with videos, media installations, photographs, drawings, collages and works on paper dating from 1969 to the present day. In over 45 years, the action, performance and video art pioneer created a body of work whose radical modernity is of particular relevance today. She is also trailblazing in her artistic work in networks. Back in 1969, Rosenbach – studying under Joseph Beuys at the Düsseldorf Art Academy – founded a group of female artists with ties to the American Women’s Liberation scene.
