Using the language of advertising and promotion, the series of paintings in the exhibition Last Call! is concerned with the current cultural and political moment. Melding art history, nostalgia, and the esthetic of current day catalog mailers, this work is an oblique critique of the "new normal" and the longing for an imagined past.
