All the world’s a stage, and every October all the players make their entrances on the London art scene. From the galleries who launch their newest exhibitions to auction houses hammering down on their latest prized artworks to numerous weekend long art fairs; in this time the capital becomes the undisputed centre of the art world.
Reem Gallery’s inaugural London show is all about breaking against the mould. From artists who are seen as "low-brow" due to their modern techniques or subject matter such as Banksy to artist's like Ai Weiwei who challenge societies views and conceptions on modern day issues.
Being surrounded by more traditional art dealers in the area, our selection of carefully curated artists will be a welcome addition to the Mayfair and St. James area. The show will feature artists from across the contemporary and urban art spectrum including Banksy, Ai Weiwei, the Connor Brothers, JJ Adams, Illuminati Neon, Joe Suzuki, Damien Hirst, Jisbar, Magnus Gjoen, Harry Bunce, Preston Paperboy, Thirsty Bstrd and Rob Bishop. We will also have gallery debuts for the internationally established mixed-media urban artist Aiiroh and French sculptor AVA.
By the end of it all on October 30th, you will be left feeling that deep down there is a rebel in all of us.
