7th Annual International Print Exhibition Juror's Statement
Chosen applicants are prime examples of the diversity possible through the medium of printmaking. Not only to they vary in technique, but also in surface and broad concepts. Special attention was given to works that took a specific technique, and fully exploited its potential - either by incorporating another process, or by allowing the simplicity of the image to solidify the composition. Selections feature local, national, and international artists, all working to push the mediums forward through advancements in technology, technique, and available sundries. It is important to note that through all these advancements, the weight and presence of the hand and tradition is never lost. Congratulations to all those selected for the 7th Annual International Print Exhibition at Remarque.
