Press Release

A solo exhibition of abstractions by the late Adele Cohen opens Thursday, February 23th at Hi Temp Fabrications, 79 Perry St, Buffalo. The show will remain on view through March 15th, 2017 and is viewable by appointment only (716-249-1320). Adele Cohen’s life and art are inextricably linked. She developed an abstract style that was rooted in expressionism, her views on the human condition, and her belief that there is beauty in the dark side of life. Cohen’s large oil paintings will be exhibited as part of Eminent for the first time since they were shown at the Burchfield Penney Art Center in 1981.
