C.T. McClusky: Circus Surreal

McClusky worked as a circus clown between 1940-1960. Utilizing found materials, he produced collages on cardboard incorporating foil, string, illustrations and cutouts from animal cracker boxes. His vignettes from circus life are candid, nostalgic and strikingly surreal.
