For the month of July, Russo Lee Gallery is pleased to present “You Are Living In A Poem” by James Allen. Known for his book excavations, the artist believes that a poem “unfurls in unexpected waves, like a book.” Many of his book excavations reveal a new combination of words and are poems in their own right. This exhibition features a free-standing sculpture made of vintage “Horizon” magazines, crowned with what looks like a lampshade, created from major imagery in art history.
