Salwa Zeidan Gallery, will be participating within the Modern and Contemporary section, as well as showcase one artwork within the Beyond booth.
In their Modern & Contemporary Booth (C10) gallery will be featuring calligraphy pieces by the well-known Ahmad Moualla and Emirati artist Abdul Aziz Al Fadli, stunning works by Oleksii Lytvynenko and newest artworks on canvas by Omar Zeidan, mixed media artworks inspired by UAE heritage by Fatema al Mazrouie, as well as newest works by the Chicago-based Connie Noyes who created her exhibited art work during her artist residency in Oct 2016 . Moreover, some new works on paper by UAE’s Hussain Sherif will be featured, with sculptures by Jamal Abdul Rahim and Hwang Seungwoo . Finally, gallery has also announced showcasing the very popular flowerbeds by Chinese artist and poet Dachan.
Simultaneously, the gallery will be also hosting a solo show at its space in “The Collection” within St. Regis Resort on Saadiyat Island. The show for the famous Chinese artist and poet Dachan will be inaugurated on 10th of November and is set to showcase 15 of his newest works.
By hosting the exhibition by artist Dachan during Abu Dhabi Art, the gallery has further confirmed their dedication to support and further collaborate with this prestigious Fair. “As every season, we are very happy to be back to Art Abu Dhabi. The organizational team is really wonderful and helpful, and Fair is developing more and more every year. We are excited to be a part of this process”, notes Salwa Zeidan, gallery Director.
