Saphira & Ventura Gallery returns to Miami and will be joining the 18th edition of SCOPE Miami Beach on 8th st. and Ocean Drive as part of Miami’s annual art week, bringing thousands of artists and galleries to its many remarkable venues.
In its return to Miami, the gallery will be presenting the works of Brooklyn based artist, Neil Kerman, a master of abstract expressionism whose career has been one of the fastest growing Brooklyn artists of the decade. Kerman’s trademark colors and versatility of technique has been the favorite of thousands of art enthusiasts from all over the world where he has exhibited in many strong contemporary exhibitions.
Saphira & Ventura Gallery will also expose to Miami the distinguished Lebanese artist, Chucrallah Fattouh, an artist whose palette and minimalist style has won him immense recognition not only in Lebanon but in many galleries and museums as well.
The gallery’s focus on the abstract approach continues with the works of Paris based painter, Geraldine Laly. Laly’s statement as an artist is comprised of a myriad of elements ranging from the influence of old masters and likewise from her personal experiences, her love of painting and of colours settled in over the years along with a visceral urge to channel her bursts of creativity.
Following in this category is the works by Ohio based artist, Jolie Harris, whose works capture the playfulness of various interposing colors along with a fine technique on creating a more dynamic aquatic tone.
Jolie’s career has seen rise in the previous several years and has won her many acclaims in the Florida market and abroad. Returning to the Scope spotlight is famous Manila based artist, John Paul Duray, whose stylish pin cushion chairs attracted the attention of thousands in the previous year. Duray has become one of the fastest growing emerging artists in the East Asian market.
Together with these works, the gallery will exhibit the textural works by Lucia Filippi, an abstract artist living in the historic Trieste, Italy where she has participated in various solo and group exhibitions.
