Peter Miller (1978, USA) and Moritz Wegwerth (1981, DE) present a group of works that explore ideas of inversion in photography such as reversals, negatives/positives and opposites.
Peter Miller lives and works in Europe and received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His artworks engage with the irreducible elements of things, particularly with the magic of early photography.
Moritz Wegwerth, graduate of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf examines in his photography the boundaries between abstraction and symbolism. Unnameable, irritating, imaginary places and situations challenge our perception and question the medium itself, leading us to the limits of reality and fiction, belief and knowledge.
