Shapero Modern will exhibit an eclectic mix of American Pop prints alongside a wall of London's finest scenery; featuring works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jonas Wood and Yayoi Kusama, as well as contemporary pieces from Stephen Walter, Grayson Perry and Jason Hawkes.
Next Thursday marks the beginning of Masterpiece 2016 - the leading Fair for art, antiques and design in the heart of London. Situated on the left as you enter (mercifully close to both the champagne bar and the first aid tent), stand C3 will showcase a vast array of both Rare Books and Modern prints, catering for tastes at once exotic, philanthropic, and patriotic. This year we have taken a particular interest in various representations of Central London. Our stand will feature seven different modern views of Piccadilly, a specially-made etching of Mayfair by the acclaimed British artist Stephen Walter, and the unparalleled Charles Booth Poverty Map (1891), highly significant for its recognition of social inequality, and rarely found in its complete form.
