September 15 - November 8
Opening reception Friday, September 15, 5-8pm
Silo118 will exhibit pieces by artists working with the human form--in many forms! Featuring painters and photographers. Part of the gallery will be set up as an artist's studio--we encourage people to bring their sketch pads and draw.
Our featured artists are JoAnn Belson, Patricia Houghton Clarke, Steven DePinto, Max Gleason, Skye Gwilliam, Jay Peterzell and Patricia Post.
JoAnn Belson has a unique niche in the art world. She has a long friendship with writer/director Nancy Meyers. Her work has appeared in all of Meyers’ films, including Father of the Bride (1 and 2), What Women Want, It's Complicated, The Holiday, The Intern and, due to be released in early September, Home Again.
Our previous show “Stepping in to the Unknown” is on exhibit through September 8 with artists Antonio Arredondo Juarez, Alonzo Davis, Nancy Gifford, Max Gleason, Sol Hill, Robin & Robert Jones, Tom Pazderka, Matt Sesow and John White.
Please contact Silo118 curator Bonnie Rubenstein at firstname.lastname@example.org or 301.379.4669 for more information about the exhibit and the artists.
