A single, fascinating image in a previous body of work inspired me to explore how our universe could have originated. Based on the Big Bang theory, I developed a thought experiment about how to photographically depict, starting with this single image, the universe's evolution from just after the Big Bang and going forward. Initially, there is just a vast wall of homogeneous light which eventually condenses into stars that eventually flicker out.
