These works, I call hadiographs, are based on my aerial photographs of Hokkaido Japan, a country of volcanos, geysers, earthquakes and snow. The ground in Hokkaido isn’t something to just walk on. It’s animate and very much alive.

It’s animate and very much alive. They are constructed from gold toned gelatin silver, graphite, watercolor and gampi paper.
