Kyle Brooks, also known as BlackCatTips, is an expressive street folk artist from "way down in the American South." As a painter and muralist, a poet and a teller of tales; Brooks has become known for his street poems, whimsical roadside art installations, and bold colorful murals. With his brush, bright colors, and found materials, he intends to paint the world "Happy." In addition to turning the streets of Atlanta into his personal canvas, Brooks has partnered with companies like Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, Weather Channel, and Adult Swim, among many others. With his debut show, A Bowl Full of Happiness, Brooks has filled the walls of Spalding Nix Fine Art with his whimsical characters and bountiful landscapes.
