at Studio 21 Fine Art
Studio 21 Fine Art presents its fifth annual Valentine’s Day Art + Wine event. New this year, is local sommelier Wally Fraser who will pair a variety of wines to complement works from the group exhibition LOVE and LOVERS opening the same evening. Valentine’s Day Art + Wine takes place on Wednesday, February 14 from 6-8PM. Tickets are $25. More wine please.

Emerging Halifax artist Laura Jean Forrester is busy in her studio preparing single ceramic roses that will be available for purchase that evening and throughout the exhibition that runs until March 7, 2018. Other exhibiting artists with new works include: Stephen Hutchings, Ania Biczysko, Ineke Graham, Heather Macleod, Jennifer Hornyak, Simon Andrew, Eva Lapka and Mariko Paterson.

ABOUT THE SOMMELIER
Wallace Fraser is a certified sommelier by The International Sommelier Guild and has extensive knowledge of both local and national wine trends. He is co-founder and past President of the Association of Sommeliers of the Atlantic Provinces (now CAPS Atlantic), and a past Cellar Master for the Atlantic Chapter of the International Sommelier Guild. He has managed the food and beverage operations of many fine dining restaurants. Wally’s extensive knowledge, creative flair and well-known sense of humour add depth to the experience of anyone fortunate enough to taste a glass of wine with him.
