We are pleased to present the first solo exhibition at the gallery and in Belgium by the Italian Master Franco Guerzoni (IT, 1948).

Franco Guerzoni began his personal exploration of the world of archaeology in the early seventies, with a special focus on the stratification of culture and the idea of the ‘ancient’ as subtraction and loss. He sought out precise methods for representing the image, also rendered through the medium of photography, accompanied by a non-stop discussion with his peers (including Vaccari, Parmiggiani, and Ghirri).
