STEP ART FAIR
In the new space Ex Local Tanks, recently restored,
the first art fair in Milan dedicated to sculpture.
The art scene in Milan now has a major new proposal.
From 13 to 15 November 2015, in the newly renovated space of the former Local Tank Steam Factory (via Procaccini 4), will be held MILAN SCULPTURE, the first art fair in Milan dedicated to the sculpture and its possible forms, from ready-made installations, from land art to public art.
Organized by Step Art Fair, Milan SCULPTURE host 50 exhibitors - including galleries, studios and individual artists - selected by Valerio Dehò, director of Kunst Meran / or Art, museum member AMACI, the Association of Museums of Contemporary Art in Italy.
Feature MILAN SCULPTURE will be to present the works as a true exhibition unit, spread over 1,000 square meters of the former tank. The particular arrangement, in which the space reserved for each tunnel will not be confined within traditional stand but in a fluid, seamless, will provide visitors with a total freedom of use of the works on display.
MILAN sculpture will be an opportunity to take stock of the state of the sculpture and topicality of his language that embraces various types of expression ranging from classic three-dimensional installation, from multimedia to the public art, land art from the achievements of materials recovery.
To explore further, there will be a panel discussion in which organizations will be invited as the Brera Academy and the Pomodoro Foundation, professors of Milan universities, artists, critics and art historians.
