Featuring a series shot in Paris for the urban culture and trends magazine WAD. Each image focuses on
showing the vibrations of movement, exploring both the creativity of the mind and the expression of feelings through bodily motions, each time emphasized by a single color.
Patrick James Michel is a French photographer born in 1963. His work has led him to collaborate with some of the most renowned fashion magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Wad, Tank, Milk, Jalouse, Elle, Rolling Stone, Brutus (Japan), or British Journal of photography.
Inspired by Nature’s vital energy that surrounds us and the relation we have with the elements, his images are a celebration of life, harmony with the universe and a reflection on our humanity and its role in that context.
Patrick has been nominated several times as an art director & photographer to the French and European Art director’s club and has had several exhibitions in Europe for his personal work on the Five Elements: Paris Photo, Galerie 213 (Paris), Festival of Naardeen (Netherland) and has been edited by STEIDL (Five in 2004).
