Both the seaside landscape of the North Fork of Long Island, NY and a compilation of urban images have been the focus of Charles Winheld’s engaging work. His paintings, each somewhat abstract and representational, mix the beauty of the east end with the lines and shapes of urban scenes. His “City and Sea”, collection, in his signature color palette that is both serene and dramatic, celebrates our urban and country experiences.
