Press Release

In this current show collections of sea debris, both organic and man-made, are the focus of Ron Barron’s captivating work. His digital images, scanned and deftly illuminated, draw the viewer in for their color, line and pattern. Each work is a converstaion about our relationship to the sea. Taken as works of collage, the art pieces are wonderfully appealing, but when examined further, each work presents content to inform us in a profound way. Barron’s approach is unique, and his methods are among the best that an artist can employ as they apply new media to the visual arts.
