| More on Clara Imbert
Clara Imbert (1994) is a French artist who graduated from Central Saint Martins in Fine Arts in 2017, currently based in Lisbon. Her practice questions the notions of space and perspective, the object and the observer’s perception. Photography and its different components are studied as well as the digital and analogue processes of forming an image. Those researches are then reinterpreted through other forms: sculpture, moving image, and installation. Imbert’s work investigates what at first sight seems invisible, opening on unexplored time-spaces, comparable to geographic coordinates still unknown.

| More on Divine Southgate-Smith
After having graduated from Central Saint Martins, 2017, London she now lives and works in Lisbon.
Southgate-Smith’s practice concerns notions surrounding space, its temporality, its construction/deconstruction and the position or relationship between the speaking subject and the object. Employing architectural and linguistic metaphors the work attempts to fragment one’s perception into multiple perspectives of a space in duration. The temporality (words, soundscapes, fleeting images, virtual spaces) are choreographed in proximity to the tangible elements in the space and thus, become part of the process of constructing spaces. By shifting through dimension, perspective and the virtual, her work investigates the spatial tension between projected and tangible spaces (subject, object, position).
As a result, her work requires the use of multiple media such as architecture, performance, sculpture and moving image. Her practice is often collaborative which enables her to explore the multiple ways one might understand or experience a durational space. In 2016, alongside 3 other emerging artists from Central Saint Martins, she established the artist collective ( )PARENTHESIS STUDIO.
