OTW--On the Way--is a recent and ongoing series of paintings by Atlanta artist Daniel Byrd exploring new artistic directions. Moving farther away from the language of "street" art and more toward classical abstraction, Byrd uses his unique visual language and eye for color to evoke something entirely different in his art. This new direction comprises more simplified forms set against the artist’s trademark weave pattern with larger areas of color.
