Wandering Romance

Tsubakiyama Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of artist LI Min’s solo exhibition “Wandering Romance”. The exhibition is curated from 24 pieces of realism oil painting works created by Li in past a few decades. Most of the artworks are for the first time shown to the public.

Li is highly skilled in oil painting from his decades of practice. During years of living in America, Li started his creation with the spirit of the 20th century mainstream realism painting. With landscape as the theme, realism as the form, Li uses brushstrokes to depict the far-reaching and eternal vitality of nature, as well as the solitary state of mind of travelers wandering in the neon of urban scenery.
