It is a surreal, fantastic world that Cornelia represents in her paintings. Her works are narrative. Sometimes they convey harmony, but reflect also existential, threatening moments. Indeed, it looks as if the classically beautiful is suspect. The paintings reveal a different fascination that stems from the artist's world of experience.
