Volume Gallery is pleased to announce a show of new work by Tanya Aguiñiga titled Driftless Zone. The weavings created for Driftless Zone will explore the traditional use of rugs and wall-hangings in domestic environments, while drawing inspiration from the geological features found in the Driftless Area or Paleozoic Plateau, the region in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa noted by its deeply carved river valleys which escaped glaciation during the last glacial period.
