A group exhibition featuring Carol Coates, Aaron Morgan Brown, Sally Stockhold, and Tim Main explores the narratives of human experience as it relates to the subconscious and the constructed present. These symbolic compositions are created with painting, photography and drawing.
These artists have the unique ability to curate new worlds, abandoning our preconceived notions of our everyday. As individuals, we comprehend and respond to our surroundings by creating narratives which alter the everyday perceptions of our worlds. By dispelling stereotypes and opening viewers’ minds, these artists have created compositions and unique characters that question our constructed present and our subconscious bias.
