The Majorcan artist Marta Pujades shows her latest works at the Madrid XF Proyectos gallery within the Apertura Madrid Gallery Weekend, which will take place from the 14th to the 16th September 2017.
The displayed works are an approachment to the photographic image, making evident some of the essential attributes that constitutes it. For the exhibition, titled ‘Índex. Señalar un punto indefinido’, the artist takes from Philippe Dubois’s work (‘The Photographic Act’) the concept of index as a reference. Pujades transfers some of the ideas that appear in the book to the practice of photography itself.
The opening of the show will be on Thursday 14th September at 5 p.m. and the works will be exhibited until the 31st October 2017.
