Yebo Contemporary Art Gallery's 39th exhibition features an eclectic mix of new work from both emerging and established artists in Eswatini (Swaziland). For nearly a decade, we have been representing a diverse group of artists, helping to showcase and promote their work to local and international audiences. Some of the artists we represent have formally trained in London and Johannesburg, while others are completely self-taught. As a small, family-run gallery, one of our main goals is to provide up-and-coming young creatives with the support they need to develop their artistic careers. This exhibition is one of our most exciting to date, exploring both the personal and the political. With no set theme, artists were encouraged to explore the subjects they felt were most pressing. The result is a powerful and thought-proving show that examines topical issues including climate change, mental health, spirituality, nature, beauty and activism.
